Private Tour with Cherg

We did a private tour with Cherg of southern Morocco including the Sahara and it was fantastic. The owner Bren was incredibly responsive as we planned this; we had originally intended to do the trip in 2021 but when Morocco sadly closed their border, we ended up rebooking for 2022 – she made everything so seamless and easy both times! She even got us some great accommodations considering we booked rather last-minute. Our guide Cherif was absolutely wonderful. He was a safe and fantastic driver; we were amazed at the skill it took to drive through the dunes and the ease at which he navigated around challenging terrain. He was a very kind man, always on time, always respectful, and always good about letting us know what to expect. We are vegetarians and he even ordered for us at several of the lunch stops to avoid any potential issues. He let us take some long walks to stretch mid long days of driving which was very much appreciated. It was a great introduction to Morocco and the Arabic he taught us helped us to navigate even after our tour. If you book the desert tour; we particularly enjoyed our stay at Kasbah Elouise in Ait Ben Haddou – talk about hospitality! I can’t say enough good things about this company, their owner, and their guide. We will be referring our elderly parents to them when they go to Morocco.
