Day 1: M’Hamid El Ghizlane

Arrive in the afternoon in M’Hamid el Ghizlane by your own transportation.  If needed, you may leave your car at the agency in M’Hamid. Trek on foot through the last oasis of the Draa Valley and the first dunes to Kasbah Sidi Khalil. Visit the ksar and depart by camel to the desert camp near the village of M’Hamid in time for sunset over the high dunes. Traditional nomad dinner and night under the stars or in nomad tents.

Day 2: Day Trip to Erg Chigaga

After a traditional nomad breakfast, depart by 4×4 to the big dunes of Erg Chigaga. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the oasis of the dunes during the trek. Return to your car at in M’Hamid in late afternoon.
