Day 1: Marrakech – Erg Chigaga
Early morning departure from Marrakech by 4×4 to Erg Chigaga via Foum Zguid and the High Atlas mountain pass of Tizi-n-Tichka. Continue to Taznakhte, well known for its handmade Berber carpets. Then to Lake Iriqui near Iriqui National Park, and on to the big dunes of Erg Chigaga. Arrive at the bivouac in late afternoon and relax or walk in the dunes. Watch the sunset over the dunes, followed by a traditional nomad dinner and night under the stars or in nomad tents.

Day 2: Erg Chigaga
After a traditional nomad breakfast, meet your team of cameleers, assist with preparation of the caravan, and trek either on foot or by camel for the big dunes at Erg Chigaga. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the oasis of the dunes during the trek. Return to the bivouac and watch sunset over the dunes, followed by a traditional nomad dinner and night under the stars or in nomad tents.

Day 3: Erg Chigaga – Boutghrar
After a traditional nomad breakfast, depart for the village Boutghrar via the Hight Atlas mountain pass of Tizi-n-Tazazert in the Jbel Saghro region. After crossing the Jbel Saghro, have lunch on the way, and then on to the village of Boutghrar to check into your guesthouse. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Boutghrar – Douar Alemdoun
After a traditional Moroccan breakfast, begin your trek to enjoy the beautiful landscape through the valley of the kasbahs in Douar El Houtte and Agouti Gorge. Have lunch at Agouti and depart in the late afternoon to the village of Douar Almdoune. Check into your guesthouse, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Douar Alemdoun – Issoumar
After a traditional Moroccan breakfast, start early in the morning and trek to Issoumar along a beautiful river gorge lined with oleanders. Enjoy lunch by the river and arrive in the village of Issoumar for a traditional Moroccan dinner and overnight at your guesthouse.

Day 6: Issoumar – Dades Gorges
After a traditional Moroccan breakfast, depart early and trek to Dades Gorge. Enjoy lunch on the road and dinner and overnight at your guesthouse.

Day 7: Dades – Marrakech
After a traditional Moroccan breakfast, depart for Marrakech via Ouarzazate and the High Atlas Mountain pass of Tizi-n-Tichka. Enjoy lunch on the way and arrive at your hotel at Marrakech in late afternoon.
